Milagres PU College, Kallianpur, is a premier institution of learning founded in 1967 through the vision and foresight of Rt. Rev. Msgr. Denis Jerome D'Souza under the management of the Catholic Board of Education of the Diocese of Mangalore. Established to make quality education accessible to the youth of coastal and rural Karnataka, the college continues to uphold its rich tradition of academic excellence, value-based education, and service to society.
Today, the college is managed by the Catholic Educational Society of Udupi (CESU), the educational wing of the Diocese of Udupi. Rooted in Christian values and open to students of all faiths and backgrounds, the institution provides an environment that nurtures intellectual growth, character formation, and social responsibility.

Foundation of Milagres College
Founded by Rt. Rev. Msgr. Denis Jerome D'Souza with a vision to provide quality higher education to the youth of the region.
Commencement of Classes
The college began functioning with Arts and Commerce streams, marking a significant step in the educational development of Kallianpur.
Formal Inauguration
Inaugurated by Sri T. A. Pai; foundation stone for the permanent building laid by Education Minister K. V. Shankara Gowda.
Introduction of Science Stream
The Science stream was introduced at the Pre-University level, expanding academic opportunities for students.
Establishment of Milagres PU College
Following bifurcation of Pre-University and Degree sections, Milagres PU College became an independent institution with Sri Sadashiva Alse as its first Principal.
New Academic Infrastructure
The "Miracle" building was inaugurated, strengthening the academic facilities of the institution.
Golden Jubilee Celebration
Milagres celebrated 50 years of educational service with thanksgiving and community celebrations.
Birth Centenary of Dr. P. Gururaj Bhat
The institution honoured the contributions of its Founder Principal and eminent educationist.
